Renata, the teacher

Well, first of all I'd like to thank Steven to accept my invitation to set up this blog. Only a very good friend would say YES to it.
I'm Renata Tami, a Brazilian English teacher. I was born in São Paulo, the largest city of Brazil and South America, it's in southeastern Brazil. I studied English at Wizard Idiomas and there I fell in love with this language, so I decided to study languages at University. I studied at Uni ABC (Universidade do Grande ABC) in Santo André from 1999 to 2001. "Teach-Learning of a Foreign Language: the method matters" was the theme of my final paper. In 2002 I spent four weeks studying English in Toronto, Canada where I made my dream come true. Three years later I took my post graduate course at Metodista in São Bernardo do Campo. Nowadays I teach English in a private school in the mornings and in a public school in the afternoons and evenings. My students are from 11 to 18 years old (secondary and high school).
